Not a whole lot to say about it, mainly because it's your reading and it's what it means to you that matters....but it does look like you have some great things coming to you in your future....enjoy the journey :)

G'damn it! I've tried to post this comment three times! I see a relationship in stasis, waiting for change to come (the Hanged Man); I see structured, maybe even forced emotions causing problems (4 of Cups); I see a need to reconcile things that seem to be in opposition (but maybe really aren't) (the Chariot). I see the beginnings of communication (Ace of Swords) and maybe some issues with a fair distribution of resources (2 of Pentacles). I see a need to review contracts with yourself and others (the Devil) and a conflict of identity, either belonging to one or both people in the relationship (5 of Wands). I see a hope or fear for balance (Justice) and an outcome of deep change (Death). Overlooking it all is the Strength card, indicating that whatever happens, you can get through by standing in your center. If this were my reading, I'd be thinking about my expectations in the relationship, of how I expect myself to behave, how I expect my partner to behave and how I expect those behaviors to synthesize. I have pulled the Death card as an outcome for my own relationship and it has simply meant a deep change in our relationship -- not a literal death of it. And I view that as a good thing. Overall, if this were my reading, I would see a relationship with issues around identity and expectations/contracts, but one with hope for emotional maturity and fulfillment (the Queen of Cups).

Thanks, Monica. That is very insightful to me at this time. When I pulled the cards yesterday, I was so embroiled in how I was feeling that I couldn't even begin to think about them. Now, I have a better perspective and your excellent perspective, and it seems less stressful. I hope that your stresses will come to a swift and calm conclusion!

Cool beans -- I'm glad it helped. I wonder if I can count this towards a reading? I'm supposed to do some for my studies this year...

I totally think that it counts as a reading. Share the details of it with whomever you need to for your studies- I totally don't mind!

To me, it looks like you're in a very tumultuous, strife/drama clogged spot right now (which doesn't seem like your normal state of being), and it's not only putting the figurative shackles on you, but also drawing up some emotion in you that normally doesn't come spilling out. It seems you're moving through this warzone in hopes of grabbing the reins on your life in general (in particular, your emotional state) to achieve an enormous transformation. Justice is in an interesting spot, though: and it makes me think of two things... When Karma's invoked, even for just causes, it always seems to me that one has to be willing to face the music in your life, as well as where the energy's being directed. The other thing that pops into my head: are you afraid of failure, or success? Both are quite valid.
