Conviction Conviction by S.C. Dowagiac, MI Help for Helpers I want to be a massage therapist who stands up for what I believe in, but without attacking others. Over the years, I've tried to think before I speak: that has helped me grow in my ability to share and be heard. I have strong convictions and ideals about my profession. I am grateful to have learned that I give away my power and credibility when I emotionally overreact. Some days, it's harder than others to stay in professional balance. I need to wait and sort out my thoughts when I'm not sure where I stand on an issue. I'm especially grateful that I will now speak up and share my thoughts out loud- even when I am the minority opinion.
